MIDI controller

In the first year of my bachelor, I made a MIDI controller as our final assignment for a course. A MIDI controller can be seen as a digital musical instrument, it sends input signals to a computer and the computer converts that to music.

This controller has a volume slider, three knobs for sound effects, eight buttons with LEDs for playing notes, a switch for switching between octaves, and a ultrasonic distance sensor that can be assigned to any effect. With this sensor, the user can intuitively control a sound effect by moving their hand up and down above the controler.
